A return shuttle will be available from Mercure Chester Abbots Well Hotel.

Katie’s Charity
This cause is incredibly close to Katie’s heart. Both Katie and Conor’s families have been affected by strokes, haemorrhages, and brain tumours. Supporting this charity is a way of honouring and remembering those who can’t be with us on our day.
Conor’s Charity
Chosen in honour of Conor’s dad, Tony, who served as an Irish Guardsman. The charity supports members of the armed forces community and their families, past and present.
Willow’s Charity
Dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs across the UK, helping every dog find a safe and loving home.

Our Story
A little timeline of how we got here
March 2020
It all started just before the world shut down. Conor began popping round to Katie’s house in Tooting every day to “work from home” (a very convincing excuse at the time).
What followed was a week of constant conversation, laughter, and getting to know each other in a way that felt unusually easy - the kind of connection you don’t question.
March 2020
With lockdown in full swing, there was only one real option for a first date: a long walk and some “essential” snacks.
Armed with vegan Greggs sausage rolls, we spent hours wandering Wandsworth Common, talking about life, everything and nothing - and somewhere in those two hours, it became clear this was something special.
April 2020
Like many people in lockdown, we got creative… Fircroft turned into a full-blown pub crawl, with each room transformed into a different “pub” complete with themes and signature drinks.
This photo (featuring Conor as a pirate, hat not included) pretty much sums up our relationship early on - fun, a bit chaotic, and never taking ourselves too seriously.
October 2020
Not long after, we moved into Conor’s flat in Tooting Broadway.
It was our first real step into building a life together - navigating everyday routines, shared spaces, and everything that comes with it.
January 2022
Our first international trip together took us to Finland - and it was pure magic.
We saw the Northern Lights, wrapped up in snow gear, completely in awe of it all. It was one of those trips that just confirms: this is my person.
October 2022
Conor travelled to South Africa for the first time, meeting Katie’s family and friends.
It was a big moment - bringing two worlds together and sharing such an important part of life with each other.
November 2022
We moved to West Kirby and into our first home together, taking on renovations and settling into a new chapter of life.
It also meant getting to know Conor’s friends and family more deeply - building our life not just as a couple, but within a wider community.

Soon after, Willow joined the family.
She brought chaos, joy, and a whole new level of love (and responsibility) into our lives - and quickly became at the centre of everything we do.
September 2024
Under a sky that finally delivered its long-promised stars, Conor asked the question - and Katie’s answer was an immediate, very on-brand, “Obviously!”
A moment we’ll never forget.
May 2025 - March 2026
We bought our house in May 2025 and spent the following months renovating it into our home.
By March 2026, we’d fully moved in - creating a space that feels completely ours, and marking the start of the next chapter together.
